  • Hi ladies,

I have a five minute break between doing bits for Sunday roast - had a lovely busy weekend sorting out. Chilly fog helps I find - want to snuggle in and make place better for the longer evenings..

    Now a question please.

I've had a slightly broken veg steamer for ages, great Tefal one but the bottoms of the veg racks snap in, and the lugs have snapped off with use. Is there such a steamer that has moulded veg trays where sides & bottom are all one piece? 'cos Santa said he'd buy me one if I find the details. :T

Something went ping, best go check my list - I'm hungry!!

Managed to do lots today but still a long list to carry forward.

DS1 has completely tidied his room so I'll clean his tomorrow before the mess desends

Just doing dinner now and then I'll do the lists later.

Loads of you have done really well this weekend and achieved loads.

    Sadly not me Dusty :(

Been feeling grotty all day and have only spent a few hours out of bed. Currently trying to stay awake until 7.30 as I don't want to go to bed yet... And I need to call my parents or they'll call after I'm asleep. Hospital assessment tomorrow so I need to be better. Can't face having it all delayed...

Valli - glad it's not raynauds, although the prickles can be just as painful. Thanks for correct spelling too, I had brain fog and it looked wrong when I typed it out!

That's nothing - I couldn't spell Bangkok the other week and spelled it Bangcock. My mate (who was off there on her hols) was most tart in her reply e mail :rotfl: and implied things about my mind...pure as the driven, me :rotfl:

Fog lifted but too damp so drier tumbling...

I have finished all the daily lists done a lot of the Christmas list or know what I am getting for most people now which is a good start.

We had a lovely weekend with my parents and niece, she got really upset when she left and rang earlier as she wanted to speak to me, unfortunately DH is used to her being in the car with us already and gave me a fright earlier when he yelled "bus stop" as we passed one!

We are more or less tidy for the start of the weekend and all the washing has been ironed and put away. I am hoping to sort a bit more from the move this week as the lists should be quite easy to manage so long as nothing scary goes on them!

    Evening

Think I have now managed most of the Extra Christmas list.

Just managed to slice the little bit off the top of my right thumb, didn't bleed when I did it, but now it is, plaster on it, now when I get to Wednesday the nurse is just so going to have trouble getting blood for my type 2 tests!

Just helping the x factor judges out, as they need my advise, clearly my hearing is better then theirs. :D:D

Hope you all had a good day.
