  • Morning all

Forgot to add to my list yesterday that I cleaned out the cupboard in the sunroom and it is now where all things cat live.

    Today

    DW on
Towels didn't dry in TD (I have a washer/dryer the TD is rubbish) so they are on the line in the beautiful sunshine.
More soup been made for lunch this week.
Cat bowls and litter tray cleaned

Lil - hope your DP is ok
Valli - did your fingers go white when you got the pain? I have mild reynards (sp?) so sometimes my fingers are painful and the blood is cut off to my fingers at the same time.

Have a great sunday all xx

I know I haven't got Raynaud's disease, Decko, my mum and little sister have it. Wasn't really pain, just prickles

Have made dinner and cooked extra mash and am going to construct a shepherd's pie when the mince has thawed, for tomorrow's tea.

Lots of pottering here - did some food shopping this morning which I have mostly put away. had to re-arrange the freezer that I am supposedly running down to de-frost :o

Chicken in to roast and I have also made carrot cake so I have something to snack on - sultanas instead of nuts in an attempt to up the F&V and reduce the calories. Once the cake is out I want to try roasting some parsnips for soup which again will give me something for work.

Hoovered downstairs, sorted the clean washing (and put most away), moutain of uniforms and my work stuff to iron. WM on yet again, and the DW.

Still need to get the sink out! It is hidden behind the crisis food supplies.

Mrs Chaos - good to see you posting. Can't remember when we bought the sink, or the taps. Just glad I can remember where I put them. We also have the en-suite bathroom to fit, loo and sink bought at the last house so at least five years old :o. I tend to buy things when there is a code or at leats a 50% off offer and then wait forever for us to fit them.

    Oh dear.

I moved the stores - after all they can go straight back.

The sink is FULL of spiders. Good job I don't mind them.....

:( ooooh Decko has 'beautiful sunshine' and we've had ghastly fog all day. Real mists and mellow fruitfulness here :(

Dusty I've finished The Great Gatsby, and yeah i think it's worth a read. A bit flowery in places for me - I'm more of a murder mystery/spy thriller type gal though, so that's no surprise. :)

The last of DS's washing is drying nicely. No pressure as I'm not taking him back to Uni 'til tomorrow morning - don't mind driving in daylight fog, but night-time fog .No thankyou.

Going to put jacket spuds in the oven when he texts me to say they're leaving the racetrack, then they'll be just about ready when he gets home :D

    Love to all xx

Roundtuit sorry read it wrong, i'm not good in the mornings :D MY DD will move into a house next year too, she mentioned her and her friend have started looking. I was worried it would be expensive, but I've asked around all the students in work and everyone says it works out cheaper so that was a relief. Positives I can see are that its the next step in being independent and it will be nice for her to chose who she lives with as the ones she shares with now drive her up the wall as they are very messy (never thought I would hear those words from her lips! :D) I don't like the way they are pushed into booking their houses so early either, we were warned at one uni visit to not be taken in by this "you have to pay a deposit now or there will be nothing left"
  • Valli - glad it's not raynauds, although the prickles can be just as painful. Thanks for correct spelling too, I had brain fog and it looked wrong when I typed it out!

roundtuit - sadly the warm sunshine didn't last much after my last post, the temperature dropped quite suddenly. Although no fog here.

    Since my last post:

Got towels in from washing line, folded and put away
    Put my ironed clothes away
    Swept floor in sunroom
Hoover lr, hallway, stairs and landing

Spent 2 hours stitching together my jumper that I finally finished knitting last week. Just the sleeves to stitch together then I shall have a new addition to my wardrobe.

    Off to mum's for tea.

    xx
