    Hi Moonflower

    Pleased to hear your mum's feeling better. The new list will be posted by Dusty later today and there'll be a link to it from this thread. Don't try and do too much at once especially seeing as you have been ill yourself. You need to take some time out for you.

    Hugs

    :snow_laug :wave: Morning everyone

    I'm giving myself a snowman, because I have thought about Christmas this week :eek: AND I have bought two presents ...which is not quite the three required by the listy but it's a start.....maybe I've earned a headless snowman, but I can't find one!

    WM has just finished the final load of DS's washing - now it's just a case of getting it all dry....don't have a TD, so it'll be draped on radiators.....and I get a sauna for free :money: :rotfl:

    DS is away racing today. Last night he uncluttered his angst about living arrangements for next September at Uni...he's now feeling fine about it, and I'm angsting. Having explored student accommodation in Hull on the 'net I don't think he needs to angst at all ....well not yet anyway!. Have other flyladies any experience of DS or DD moving into student accom for their 2nd year at Uni? No horror stories please :o:shocked::cry:

    Right, I'm away to unload the WM. Be back later xx

    :wave: Hi Zippy

    DS has gone to Uni this year too, and is happily living in Halls...similar to your DD by the sound of it. ie someone on site etc. The angsting is about moving out of Halls for the 2nd year and into a shared flat/house/whatever. He's got someone pushing for it already, and as he rightly points out he's only 'known these people for a matter of weeks' and doesn't know if he wants to live with them next year or not. Having looked on the net I see there are places to rent in Hull now...two months after the start of the semester, so I've told him not to rush into anything (he's quite reassured but I've found my 'anxious' head...which is most annoying)

    However...moving quickly back on thread.....I have written my Christmas present list AND my Christmas card list :T :j AND I've arranged to go Christmas shopping with a friend, who actually likes shopping:eek: ,on 29th November, and I'll have a mega shop and buy the bulk of my prezzies then. Does that earn me a mini Santa or something?

    lunch next methinks xx

  • I've been a bit absent from posting but I am keeping relatively on top of the housework together with a full time job that has me away from the house over 12 hours a day and 3rd year Open Uni coursework I am happy with the progress...

    No kids at home except for a part time step son and I refuse to clean his room if he does not have the courtesy to even make his bed! (childish I know but he is 17 so not a baby!)

    I have been quite good around Christmas stuff - even took the MIL shopping on Saturday. This year as the kids are 20/18 & 17 and scattered far and wide it is likely they will only want money and as none are visiting, hubby and I are off to my sister as she has 5 kids varying from 18 years to 3 years so that will be fun fun fun!

    Hubby and I have booked a long weekend in Amsterdam today as our Christmas present! Life is good!

    Count me in for next week - I am still mostly level 1 as that is really all I can fit into my busy weekdays...

    hope everyone has a super Sunday...

    :j:beer::j
    Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!
