    TIA

I've had two of the bosches (24v version) the first one packed up and I'd lost the reciept so replaced with the same(so I had 2 batteries) and then the battery of the first one packed up. The good battery doesn't last long either. Avoid.
    Replaced with this baby http://www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-dc100ka-gb-18v-1-3ah-ni-cd-cordless-combi-drill/73596?cm_sp=Tools-_-Drills-_-73596

Absolutlly brilliant, batteries last for ages, and metal gearing

Thanks, I think I will go with this even though it is NiCad. Now, can anyone recommend a decent drill bit set at a good price, please?

    Thanks

  • If you are not in the trade or a weekend DIYer then B&Q is OK for power tools, but if you a serious DIYer or in the trade, then look at professional tool suppliers such as .

    Currently on offer is a Hitachi 10.8v Li-Ion kit (Twin-Drill driver & impact drill) for less than £ 150. That's a bargain.

In my case, all my cordless tools are Milwaukee V18 and V28. They cost a lot but do the job. I bought most from Ebay UK and USA.
