not had any word from the buyer since i asked her why it took nine days to tell me it was not suitable.how many days does she have to open a dispute on ebay/paypal?

    thanks

It is not your problem if the item is 'not suitable'

I would just reply and say, "I have checked carefully and the item is correctly described on the listing, and does state that it was shortened. If it not suitable for you then I would suggest that you resell it on eBay."

maybe i'm being a bit ageist here, but the buyer says she has over 40 years experience in the clothing industry, which i would put her age in the mid fifties, the dress i sold was no way for that age group, but maybe i am being ageist.also she has also lots of clothes ranging from a size 12 to an eighteen,is it possible she is buying to sell on.has purchased 42 items since she bought my item, although she says she has not got time to go on e-bay!!!!

A lot of people buy to sell on.

She probably has 40 years experience of selling M&S working on the tills.....

Regardless of that, my view would be that if your item was described correctly then it is not your problem.
