Lyca Mobile to Lyca Mobile is now free
For those who frequently make a phone call to overseas, it is worth to have Lyca Sim card, as the call rate per minute to many countries are mostly 1p. It will beat Skype (to landlines call) or many of the pre-paid scratch card
The sim card is free if you consider that you already get credit with the sin card. As far as I am aware the credit on the SIM card wil not expire (?)
What I just notice is that Lyca to Lyca mobile in the UK is now free. So it is worthy to ask your chatting partner to have one if you already have one.
FYI I have nothing to do with Lyca mobile apart as I am a happy customer and think that this info is worthy to share ...

T-Mobile - calls to 07404 (Lycamobile) excluded from allowance
T-MOBILE excluding Lyca from inclusive mins0 -
Thank you for adding more info and make it more accurate ...It expires if you don't use the phone for 180/360 days depending on the network.
So is giffgaff and icardmobile. However, other networks don't treat them as foreign sims unlike some Lyca sims.

Beware of these free Lyca to Lyca calls. I recently found I was being charged for a bunch of numbers that appear to be Lyca.
Lyca claim that these numbers have been ported out. Checking the HLR (Home Location Register), showed that these numbers are registered and active on the Lyca network. You credit becomes depleted as a result and when you have a zero balance you can no longer call Lyca to Lyca free and then have to top up again.
I'm sure Lyca must be making a fortune from this but I haven't a clue what can be done about it.0
