question re: using a live sky viewing card at a different location?

Hi

I'm moving home on Friday into temporary accommodation until I can move into my new house in Feb 2012.

I've cancelled my account but Sky is live until mid-December. I will NOT have a land line.

The house I'm going to is set up for sky so can I simply plug in my box and card and:

- get nothing;
- get freesat only
- get all that my card (account allows)

Any thoughts welcomed!

You will get everything you subscribe to until the cancellation is effective and then it will revert to FreesatFromSky.

You can't get Freesat on your Sky box once your sub expires-what you will receive is Freesat From Sky-slightly different.

I am thinking of cancelling my Sky subscription so a quick question.

Rather than giving a list of channels that can be received by freesat and freesat from Sky what channels can you receive with freesat from Sky that you can't receive with a freesat receiver and vise versa?

I.e are there any channels exclusively on freesat from Sky that aren't on freesat?

The following is a list of free-to-view channels on the Freesat from Sky platform. A viewing card is required to watch them. None of these channels are available on Freesat.
A Sky+ HD or Sky HD box may be required to view the channel.
