How long does the max 10 items per month last?

I started selling items on Ebay back in August/September and Ebay have imposed a limit on how many items I can list per month and it's on 10 items!!! I have got my paypal account verified as it said that that might let them increase my limit but it doesn't seem to have done. I have loads of things I want to sell but can't!!! It's so frustrating...
Does anyone know how long this limit is imposed for, is it on certain number of positive feedbacks or what more I could do to get the limit increased?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have so many things I want to sell before xmas.
Thank you!

I went to ebay
I went to the community area
Then the answer centre
Then the selling on ebay section
And found this for you
Most new sellers are limited to ten items each month until they show that they are a good seller by getting good feedback.
You have to be patient and work at it.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

Thank you Sambucus Nigra, I wish they gave what their criteria was as I've been getting top ratings on my feedback! I find Amazon an absolute doddle to use but Ebay is just so un-userfriendly!!! I'm pretty pc savvy but it's just awful to try and do anything/find anything out.
Anyway, thank you again for your help, much appreciated xNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Are you selling your old stuff or buying to sell on?Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

A mixture to be honest. I bought a load of children's christmas outfits from Matalan in the summer (weird...) for £1 each reduced from £8-£10 so these are all brand new with tags.
Some items are used items although still in Like New condition such as dvds/jigsaws etc. I always Photoshop the items to make them look professional and always give an accurate description of the condition of the item. I just wish I knew if the limit was for a length of time or number of positive feedbacks so I had a goal to work towards rather than being stuck in limbo!New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

You need to register with HMRC and complete a tax return for the things you are buying and selling on within 3 months of starting. You should also have an eBay business account.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

As per mildred then, you need two accounts. OPen a business one for your items bought to resell and keep the private one for your own goods.
Selling new with tag items on a private aco!!!! is going to flag you up eventually as someone wrongly registered so you'll never get your new seller restriction lifted.
Upgrade your current account to a business one as you need the feedback. Then open a new private one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks Guys, I'll ask my parents if I can put the new items then on their business account and pay them a fee as it will be much easier than having to fill in the tax return etc.
I'll set up a new Ebay account for the old stuff then and just get rid of my current one.

Sorry I am confused. There is no need to get rid of your existing account if it is going to sell only private goods- might as well keep it as you are already two months nearer having your new seller restrictions lifted.
As for passing your goods through your parents business account, are they going to be happy with having to pay tax on your goods?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
