Yeah, you're right, he wrote the original song with that title, and the words would go really well if sung by DD. However, I'm almost too young to remember it! :D

    Those were the days :)
Oh lord, carolt is starting to turn this back into a 'Carolt Show' thread again. Why can't she just get along with people?

!!!!!! carolt, can try to hold back your natural inclination to be the centre of attention for just 5 minutes please? Either that or create your own thread entitled "Carolt's Narcissistic Thread!" where you can post and argue to your heart's content. It's pathetic, it really is.

I couldn't contemplate leaving without making sure contact details had been swapped with most of the nice people. I've grown to care about people like you very sincerely and deeply, not staying in touch would be dreadful.

I have no idea what Sticky Keys has to do with the bulls' activities on this forum, but it's good that you highlight a useful feature for those who may have physical disabilities.

All I was pointing out is that posters of a bullish persuasion do seem to visit here more often during periods of HPI (well, just after periods of HPI).

I stumbled in here when I starting thinking of what was needed to do so I could buy, been fun and my journey is nearly complete.

Still around as there is some great people in here and most of the time I can have an interesting debate/discussion despite some fanatics (both bull and bear) which really annoy me at times.

I will admit I have learned a lot while in here from both bulls and bears and would like to think I have put forward some of the more reasonable arguments forward most of the time.

I will say feeding trolls has become a nice pass time for me as well but I will stop it soon.

I came in here when I was contemplating the purchase of a second home. I thought the sensible people here might be able to provide an informed view one way or the other as to the direction of house prices.

To a general degree informed views were available but as this is an internet forum plenty of pinches of salt need to be taken especially at the outer fringes of opinion. I'd not really thought about the moral impact of buying a second home but some were quick to point out the damage I was personally doing to local communities etc. Again once the outer fringes were filtered out there were some interesting points to consider.

I find this forum, like many I guess, to be slightly addictive. I spend too much time here that's for sure. It's a great mix of posters too - doom mongers, bulls, bears, BTL owners, BTL haters, silverbugs and, the most valuable, those rare posters who give a balanced, informed and unprejudiced opinion.

What I never do is to allow myself to think the collection of posters here in any way represents the view of the wider public - I'd never sleep at night!
