Hi I bought a car through Autopia motors co LTD Cwmbran in March 1999 can I claim my ppi back I have got all the paper work and don't think the company is around no more any help this please
You cannot claim it back. You can complain to the business that sold it to you if you believe it was missold.
That is the business you bought it from (i.e. the dealer in your case), not the insurer.
Your dealer ceased to exist in 2000 and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme cannot help you with a 1999 sale.
Hi
I have found that my elderly father elected for PPI with Capital Woodchester. He bought a car from Polar Ford in 2003. It was on an options scheme and he returned it after 5 years. Is it worth pursuing PPI payment for this?

2003 is pre-regulation. So, Polar Ford do not have to consider the complaint. You can try complaining to Polar Ford but if they are like most car dealers, they will refuse to look at it and say it is pre-regulation.
