Halifax Online Banking Improvements

Just to let everyone know there WILL NOT be any changes to the Halifax Online banking service in the future. I know they have promised this but it isn't going to happen.

I sent them a email and they have cancelled the plans to improve it.

LOL! Thanks for the info. I had the beta version for about five minutes and was wondering where it went to.

Was only enquiring as to its whereabouts yesterday. And it still says 'coming soon' ( ) at the top of my Portfolio.

So that's been a spectacular bit of nothing ... after all the hype and demo screens. Ah well ... at least I know where stuff is on the existing one.

I sent them a email and they have cancelled the plans to improve it.

I was talking to one of their CS Managers earlier today, on a different subject - and she advises this is not the case.

They have run into (unspecified) unexpected problems in development - but she was quite clear (and checked with a colleague) it is going ahead.

Internally - they're working to March. But are loathe to publicise that in the light they've already been seen to miss several 'coming soon' dates

I was worried there for a minute that someone at Halifax knew what they were talking about - but no, seems that the right hand still doesn't know what the left hand is doing!

    Good old Halifax :D
