    :T Have added that to the list of possibilities! Thanks!
    (I didn't realise there was a new one out - lol then again maybe I *shouldn't* get him it - that way I won't be a COD widow again lol)

    Ha ha yes it came out last week....and he's moaning because all his friends are playing it and he isn't but isn't allowed to buy it as it was on hs list...although I am sure he'd be even more gutted if he didn't get it at all lol.

    Just a thought, not sure if its still on but one of the cheapest places I could find it was sainsburys online, and I got 500 bonus nectar points too..obviously that was a couple of weeks ago so things could have changed, but worth a look.

  • I'm thinking of buying a little box (aka cheap hamper) and filling it with things he likes.

    So far I've bought him;
    • Some breakfast tea with a little tea strainer (he loves his tea)
    • A little suitcase of shortbread (again, another one of his favs)
    • Some Jack Daniels whisky chocolates (loves JD)
    • Whisky fudge (again, he loves fudge)
    I'm planning on buying him a couple of dvds (Limitless & Source Code - I think he'll enjoy them), Harry Potter/Star Wars Lego for the Wii (he's loving the Pirates of the Carribean Lego game and keeps asking if he can have the Star Wars one) and I think I might buy something soppy (probably to symbolise his last Christmas as an unmarried man.)

    I'll probably see lots of little bits that I can buy him, he does was a DSLR camera but the one he wants is £500 second hand and that's just for the body, not the extra bits!

    Maybe if I save some money, I'll get him one of those for the wedding/his birthday (they're in the same month.)

    Harry Potter one is not worth getting - its ok but wouldn't spend more than a tenner on it. The star wars Lego ones are amazing tho! We love them! :D Would say go for the Starwars!

    Thanks for the advice, I'll get the Star Wars one instead :) I'll add it to my Amazon cart, unless you know of where I could get it cheaper?

    Sorry, no. We are members of love film (the game package), so we get new games twice a month. So haven't brought it. It's the only game I ever finished though, and we kept it for around 1 1/2 months!

    I think it's £6.99 a month. That's for 2 discs at separate times. :money:

  • Thanks, sounds like a great deal!
