Don't know if this is the right place for this
Went to Asda today and bought a bottle of Heinz Tomato Ketchup 1kg. On the shelf it was promoting it for £1.26 and when I went to the till they charged me £1.48. So I went to the Customer service and she checked it and refunded me 22p and also said that I get a £2 gift card because of the misprice. I was so glad that I did go to the Customer service.
She said it was normal to give out gift cards when you have been charged higher than advertised.

No reliance should be placed on the above.

thats wicked!
Tesco overcharged me for two tubs of Bounty icecream the other day. I took it to Customer Services, she gave me a refund and both ice creams.

I was overcharged in Asda last week, 68p instead of the advertised 61p for a bunch of spring onions. Took receipt to customer services and got my 7p (!) back. Mentioned the £2 gift voucher and was told they are discontinuing this offer but was grudgingly given one anyway.0

In tescos once was shoping there while visiting my parents, spotted some fresh beef burgers reduced from £2 to 50p, we brought 4 packs at this price (my little bro's bday and he had mates around) on the till the girl mis-scanned the wrong barcode and we were carged 4* £2, noticed after paid went to CS and they then refunded my mum double the difference, so we got paid £8 to take away burgers worth £2, amazing customer service!0

They've been doing this for 3 or 4 YEARS !
I take advantage of it everytime I see an anomaly in their prices.
I actively look for incorrect pricing.
I estimate they've given me well over £150, probably nearer £200, since the policy was introduced.
I'd guess on average I get a £2 "sorry" from them about twice a month.
Used it only last week with their 25% off Australian wines promotion.
Noticed that they had reduced all the Australian Whites and all the Australian Reds prices on the shelf tickets but the Rosés were still displaying full prices.
So put a Australian Rosé in the trolley and headed to customer service as soon as I left the checkout.
Collected my 25% discount AND a £2 "apology".
Nice bottle of Rosé for 40 PENCE once all the discounts, refunds and coupons taked into account. There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

The checkout lady said they're only allowed to take 10% of the total in vouchers. It that the same in all Asda stores or just the one in York!!!!No reliance should be placed on the above.0

No my local store in Preston will only take 10% of vouchers too.
Last week I bought three reduced pots of fresh custard for 46p instead of 99p. When I returned home I noticed that it had the previous days date on for best before date. I rang customer service who told me to call in on my next visit.Yesterday I received 46p x3, 99p x3, and a £5 voucher !Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0 -
The best ones to try with are the items with promotional prices on the label of the actual product, but it HAS to be to be put there by the manufacturer. Normally there is a mix of promotional and non-promotional items, with the old price on the shelf ticket. Just compare the prices with the label and shelf ticket, and you might just find some that don't match. With a bit of luck, it will scan at the old price and there you go, visit customer services. This varies from store to store, and if the promotion has just started, then even better you have more chance of mistakes being spotted.
