Post your full kWh figures (i.e. your region and your day/night rate electricity figures) and someone can check it for you.No free lunch, and no free laptop

ECO20:20 is not Economy 7.
I think you get a day time period at 9.40p for boosting storage heaters, which you probably don't have.
It probably is good for somebody electric only, but for a household with gas central heating, it makes no sense.
I am paying 9.28p per kWh, single rate, and around 8.1p per kWh last year, any time. My flat rate is cheaper than your cheap rate.
The problem is, you have a EDF special meter, for ECO20:20.
You probably need to get EDF to replace the meter (you may have to pay), which would force you onto a standard tariff. They will offer to sign you onto a tariff which comes with an exit penalty. Obviously, avoid this, and insist on a tariff without exit penalty, which will cost more.0 -
Agreed-it sound similar to Economy 10. OP needs to clarify the dual rate tariff, and what their heating and hot water arrangements are. But it sounds all wrong given the gas consumption, which must be down to gas CH.No free lunch, and no free laptop
