oh my gawd! Just poodled on to the DFW board to work out my plans for the day & the thread hasn't been started!??! What is going on with our dwindling small things community??? Guys we need to take action to make sure we don't fall off the grid  I'd be so sad to loose the thread such a source of support & encouragement to me!

Why my beautiful, I was already up and out - 8am train for me :)

Was off training to be a yoga teacher :D

    Did a few small things:
    • Pre-booked train tickets
    • Hubby bought my lunch :T
    • Didn't go to the shops at lunch
    • Trained for a new career :T
Not so dfw stuff is that we're getting a take away :o Hey ho - 'tis Saturday and not going out boozing all night :p £10 each for our night in

BTW - I'll be back posting with vengeance when I finally move house and can sort my 'regular' payments - money is up in the air just now because every month we have different stuff to pay out and are just trying to keep as much cash as poss (rather than concentrating on paying off debt as usual). Bit unsettling all of this. Yoga helped today.

I too am like you. I have some lovely baby items that I should list on ebay (taking advantage of free listing) BUT it's really hard to part with them emotionally. I guess I just will have to 'get over it' and perhaps keep one or two items and list the rest.

Hiya - You could take photos of some of the stuff with fond memories and do something creative with it - create a pinboard frame/collage etc. And remember you'll still have the memories even if you don't have the physical items.:)

Hi everyone, I thought I would join in as I added up my credit card totals and I now owe £2849 (at highest it was over £5500), so I am happy it's going down and want to keep it going that way!

    Today I have:

    Checked online banking
    Completed a survey
Spent the afternoon trying to catch up with my OU work
Washing on airer as weather rubbish (although yesterday's load hasn't all dried on airer yet, so have had to hang coathangers off all available doorhandles/surfaces!)

I will watch a DVD tonight or play a pc game.

    Tomorrow:

    More studying
    Ebay listings
    Go for a walk
Perhaps start on the pantry tidy up and inventory? This depends on how long it takes me to catch up with 28 pages of study!
I thought it was free listing on Ebay this week but - when I went to relist some stuff - it was coming up with a fee - I have relisted lots of times on EB when it was FL weekend. Help please.

I think you can list for free on ebay if you start at £0.99?

    Hiya,

You have to manually relist it for it to come up as free, using their ever so handy relist function is excluded unfortunately :( But hey it only takes a couple of minutes to copy & paste everything over! Good luck x

NPD - boyfriend's gone away for weekend so hopefully will be a bit of a hermit all weekend - yay![/STRIKE]

List a couple of things on Ebay maybe?[STRIKE]
Wrap up Christmas presents bought already - will definitely keep me distracted and away from thoughts of spending![/STRIKE]

    Hi all

Just checking in before I switch off and go to bed - nearly all Christmas presents now wrapped (apart from three!), will try and write cards tomorrow then I can sit back and enjoy the season!

Have also curbed my shopping cravings by buying a few free ebooks from Amazon, and have used the Nectar toolbar for any searches!

Right, off to bed, back tomorrow with a new day, new list!

    Night all!
