Vodafone Iphone signal Problems
I have had my iPhone 3gs for 20 months now and for the last 6 months I have slowly been getting signal problems. Which in the 10 years I’ve been with Vodafone I haven’t experienced before.
It started from the odd outage here and there which I could live with to basically getting the odd signal here and there and to top it off now the silent mode slide on the side of the phone has started to malfunction too meaning when i put it into silent mode the phone then flicks between silent mode on to silent mode off just by moving the handset or touching the touch screen.
After contacting Vodafone several times about the problems they don’t seem overly interested in sorting the problems out yet seem increasingly happy to take my money. The funniest answer I’ve had was the mast in your area is down should be working by the end of the day yet my dad’s phone a pay as you go Samsung on the table next to mine had full Vodafone signal where as my phone had no service. Although he has told me today that he has started to receive the same problems as myself.
After reading other peoples post I would like to know if they have had their problems sorted out yet or are they still on going?
I know I've only got 4 months left but why should I pay £35 for a substandard service?

You didn't think it was substandard 20 months ago when the 3gs was just launched, in 20 months from now , it is likely we will see similar poss about the 4S

Chrispafc do u mean the rep or the phone?
If you mean the phone I've had to put money towards the phone So tecnicley yes.
If you mean the rep then no, I don't believe a mast would be down for 6months not only that but up until last week my dad wasn't having any problems.
I shall email the rep to see if it can be sorted direct but I'm not holding my breath.0 -
I had the same problem, Apple were helpful but couldnt resolve the problem. Go on the Vodafone forum and all the complaints about these so called phones. vodafone were as much use as a chocolate fireguard. I flogged the phone and will ditch vodafone for poor customer service when my contract expires0
