I am so glad she is at uni now my energy consumption has definitely gone down over the last couple of months lol ( i do miss her really bless ).
Yep ours has gone down with one off at uni. Shoiwer and washing machine, much less one touch clothing.
Now if I could just find the scissors for my DDs hair.;)"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Thank you to Chris so true.
We have recently had a new meter fitted as the old one was retired from a mechanical one to a digital one.
I would say the readings are in line with each other. We have a medium 4 bed 20 year old house, with energy saving bulbs wherever posible and most non essential items off when not in use, all appliances are A rated or above i.e. we are careful. Two near adult children. Our annual consumption is 7200Kwh 20 per day.
Lo/hi range during the year ex holidays 99/160 or 14/23 per day. October averaged 16 per day."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

If you have any doubts of you utility meter, or you would like to monitor your usage more closely, I would recommend looking at the options from EKM Metering.
I used their Omnimeters to monitor a few rentals of mine and was very happy with it, as well as their technical support. Its the best deal for a remote-readable meter that I was able to find.
It has an accuracy of something like .5% so will be able to tell you if your utility meter is giving you incorrect statements.
Anywho, hope this helps.0
