thanks terrierlady, where, best place to buy?:and what price approx is it.What,s the make, pleasebeer:
  • The San Francisco is a good phone for the money but not sure it is the right phone for your wife. It is a smart phone and if she takes a lot of photos, the camera is not so good.

If you are still interested it is available in the UK as the Orange San Francisco and is available direct from Orange at £89.99 + £20 top-up.
    Or from Argos at £99.99 + £10 top-up.

Hi Sparky thanks, it,s just for the odd picture. It sounds similar to one my son has, probably same.
argos just around the corner, didn,t really want a smart phone, just basic good phone that takes good quality pictures. She would never use net, she does on pc.they seem to get bigger.

Use 'camera' tab to filter for 5Mp+, then other tabs to filter other parameters.
Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones are known to have better cameras.

When you have some idea what phone(s) you want ask here for the best option for buying it.

Hi Grumbler, apart from Frisco, 2 others, both nockia , from argos, same price as frisco, are x3-o2, and c3, any advice regarding these would be grateful..
both of these are way over complicated, and too much on for my wifes usage, but it seems they are all similar...
good old nokia1100, which we have now, with camera would suffice..cannot find one;;;cheers
