Could anyone help with Nokia N70???Thanks

Hi every1 as I'm new in here I'm kind of lost, so sorry for being clumsy or for whatever which has been already mentioned and I didnt find it.

Here is my problem I've bought a couple of Nokias N70 1 from Orange and 1

from vodafone and I'd like to have them unlocked. I've tried to unlock them

by myself it didnt work out though . As i went on i found out that i will have

to do it either with cable or ask the network provider. The next thing is that

I'd like to download Czech language into them because i want to take home.

you'll have to contact vodafone and orange to unlock them. Vodafone charge £20 in contract, it's free out of contract

don't know about orange, nor the getting the Czech language, though I suspect you would have to change the firmware. I changed my phone from western european languages to eastern european by getting rid of the vodafone branding and replacing with the generic firmware

I have a sony ericsson,which can be done online, I don't know if nokia's work like that, but a nokia service centre (big carphonewarehouse's etc) might be able to help

Not for BB5 nokias, these can only be unlocked by the network provider

I work for Vodafone and may be able to help.

As stated by Kai666, the N70 is BB5, which can only be unlocked by the network provider and the charge is £19.99.

If you would like us to obtain the unlocking code for you, go to www.vodafone.co.uk , then contact us, you will then be able to email us directly. You will need to include the following information:

*Make
*Model
*IMEI number
*A valid Vodafone number so we can apply the charge.

If you include FIT135 in the body of the text, it will be picked up by a team who monitor the public forums and will be able to help.

Regarding the Czech language, this will require a firmware flash. This is not something Vodafone offer, as it will void any warranty on the handset, however, your local repair centre will be able to point you in the right direction.
