Does anyone do this? I am thinking of getting a new tv and i believe i can connect lappy to it?
Does anyone else do this and how do you find it? Do you prefer having the laptop screen in front of you directly or is looking up or away at the television ok?
Thanks.

Its more dependent on the monitor outputs from the laptop, you WILL have VGA (oblong blue) out put you probably also have S-Video (round yellow) you might have HDMI Output (not to be confused with a hdmi input) Just use one of these and the appropriate cables.0

Do you want to do this to watch movies and general tv...? In this case I do it and it works very well, I much prefer looking at my 32'' inch screen tv than my 15'' laptop screen... I connect it using the VGA blue cable, same way I connect a monitor to a computer.0

The best way, is via HDMI out, as you'l get sound coming out of your TV aswell as picture.0
