Consumer rights - refunds

Hi, I bought a baking class session online for airyfairy cupcakes. The company has emailed me saying they have cancelled the class but will not be issuing any refunds. They said they can give me a voucher for another class in the future. I have looked at their other classes and I am not interested in any of them. I have emailed the company advising them that I am not interest on any other classes and require a full refund. The company refused a refund and insisted on only vouchers for future classes which i do not require.
What can I do? I would be grateful if anyone can give me an advice. Thank you

How did you pay? If by PayPal try a chargeback via them. Otherwise it might be a letter before action.
I looked on their site, where are their T&Cs?0 -
Hmm... once you have the refund issue sorted... have you considered learning from a book?
Lots of teach yourself books come in at under a fiver: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_8?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=cupcakes+decorating&sprefix=cupcakes
And it might be worth asking on the Old Style board for tried and tested/favourite books covering the decoration of cupcakes.
Finally, I think a search of you-tube will have a fair few demonstrations to watch.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Or alternatively and even more MSE, borrow the book from your local library completely free of charge. It is really important for people to make use of them. *Steps down off soapbox*0
