I've flown through MAA (chennai) airport a couple of times over the last few days and there are a lot of the Kingfisher planes just parked-up there.

I'd be sorry to see Kingfisher collapse. I'd flown them several times on internal flights in India and they were very pleasant (there's something fun about an airline being owned by the same company as a brewery! If only Carlsberg did airlines...). They also had a tie-up with BA for collecting miles and were on the verge of joining One World.

It's interesting they are struggling to make money in the Indian airline market which is a huge growth area.

Yes, Im sorry too, however Ive booked my internal flights with GO as I can't risk cancellations to meet my BA flights.

This is the problem. Once your reputation and public confidence collapses, its hard to reverse the landslide
