    Hi,

    Go here: http://www.nortica.com/UserArea/Default.asp

This will show you the big sellers on eBay. Just look at what they are selling.

Nothing much to add to the above posters, except to say Good Luck! I wish I had the balls to give up my job and work at home on ebay!!
I've done it (after being made redundant) and wouldn't recommend it.
I ran a full-time eBay business selling laptop computers and parts for them. This was 3-4 years ago when there was some margin to be made (there's no profit in computers now) but, even buying at £399 and selling at £499, it was almost impossible to make a reasonable living.
I now run a software company (I wouldn't recommend that either from a money-making point of view) but often dream of the late 90s when anybody with a few years programming experience could make £1000+ per week just for turning up at work :)
    Can I help?

  • Buy £10k worth of PS3's on pre-order.
Then sell them on eBay, I reckon you could at least double your money.

I've not noticed any affiliate links on this site except for the energyline cashback deal.
virtually every single recommended site for (look at the menu choice)
credit cards, shopping, phones, utilities, savings, investments, loans, insurance, travel, mortgages and more are affiliate links.
I was not being critical about them at all, rather pointing out the ease of earning money when you do your homework....
Think about it,every time someone purchases something through the links provided,he earns off that. There are currently 700,000 members, thats a great potential for clicks?
Simple ideas are normally the best, dont get to big to fast....and dont think because you have a good idea that you can earn a fortune.
You have probably heard the old saying "stack it high, sell it cheap".This is the principle the big Ebayers sell off, price everyone out of the market. You cant touch them for price..so you dont bother competing?
    Find a niche-no competion.

surely the software issue is a dodgy area. Even though the software is free on the internet, your selling it for profit is likley to be illegal.

That all depends on the licence that the software is supplied with, and whether putting it onto a disc for ease of use can be classed as a chargeable service with some software.

Some freeware cannot be legally distributed, some GNU/GPL licenced stuff can be.
