    D500 hands down.

Anything with the words Motorola in the description means trouble.

Infact on a Latin transalation site Motorola means, you poor soul

    Hi

I have the D500 and it is great. You get send animated messages with your own sound, mp3, video you can do anything with it. The ONLY problem is becauseit is still new there is very little downloads for it especially games.None worth mentioning in fact the games are trash. This will improve but probably you will have the same problem with the motorola, might even be worse as I have had this problem a lot . New phones usually dont have the ability to use their full facilitys . Cant comment on the motorola as have never used it but I do try to avoid Motorola in general no matter how good they make their phones look.

Cat72, I posted about how to put free games on your D500 some time ago. Currently have 43 games on my D500 and while some are trash, some are quite good. You can try any java game for any phone.

OP, I have the D500 as do two friends at work. We are all very happy with them. Never seen a v3 in the flesh so can't comment on that.

D500 easily, had the V3 which is very impressive but the D500 is also impressive and offers so much more and is quite easy to use. Think the D500 is actually newer than the V3.

V3 looks good but is very basic....

    5.5mb memory  0.3 vga camera :(

    D500 96mb memory :) 1.3 megapixel camera

better battery on d500 and ive never liked motorolas menu system.

So for looks and flashing it V3.
    For features and camera D500.

I still think D500 is a funky slick phone though is has a auto slide so once youve starting pushing it up it finishes, and demand for V3 is quite slow, where our department sells over 3000 D500 a week.
