will LG optimus one work in Japan?
I've potentially got landed with a trip to Japan in the next week or so and a definite one shortly afterwards. Have had a quick google but cant see to figure out the requirements are for a mobile to work while over there? I did see something that said any 3G phone would work but then other results seem to suggest otherwise. The phone specs are:
Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
Dual-band 3G with HSDPA (7.2 Mbps)
Edit: General
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100
I might be able to pinch a work mobile for the duration but would be good to know if mine would work as a back up.
