Hi,
I hope someone can help!!
I currently have the Blackberry Bold 9700 and have had a lot of problems with it and really don't rate it compared to my old phone the Iphone 3G!! I am on a 24 month £25 a month contract with Orange and am due for an upgrade (contract finishes in February) on Sunday 13th. I have been looking around at new phones and for the same sort of budget I think I might settle for the new Nokia Lumia, although at first I thought I might like the Samsung Galaxy S2 unfortunately it is too expensive and too big for me.
I have seen a £26 month deal with Carphone Warehouse for the Nokia with Orange which I get 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750gb internet and this is fine for me. I went into Orange today to ask them about this deal but they won't be able to do this deal and so I asked them about finishing my current contract before I take out another one with Carphone Warehouse so that I can keep my current number and they said that I didn't have to do this as I can go into Carphone Warehouse when the phone is released and ask them for an upgrade as I will be eligible on the 16th when it is released and so I will be able to keep my number and not then have to pay £75 to pay off my existing contract. I use Quidco and they offer £50 cashback at the moment for pre-ordering the Nokia Lumia but if I do this online then I assume I won't be able to 'upgrade' my current contract to this phone and will then have to pay £75 to Orange to finish my current one. I really can't decide what to do and if there are any better offers/deals.
If anyone can understand what I'm going on about I would be really grateful if anyone has any advice for me.
Many thanks in advance....
