Samsung Galaxy Note - any user experiences/good deals

When my contract runs out (Galaxy S) I am thinking of getting the new Galaxy Note but probably on a Sim only deal and cheap 30 day contract rather than being tied to a 24 month contract.

Has anyone got one of these phones yet and what do you think of it?
Has anyone seen any good Sim only deals on this handset?

Reviews dont get much better than the one by NZTechfreak

ps: you could check out his reviews of the SGS2 too.

The handset is available from websites like clove, kingofgadgets etc but some say cheaper from germany about 475 i think and same for india where MRP is about germany price but bound to get cheaper with time. Am looking out for deals on this one too.
