a preloved.co.uk in the forums ... theres several scams regarding pedigree puppies ,,, these breeders do a whole range of things too fraud .... ranging from stating that the !!!!! has had more puppies than she actually has had ... say she had 4 and they tell the kennel club she has had 9 ... then breeding another !!!!! with no papers and no pedigree and using the kc paperwork too inflate the price ... you should also be wary of dlrc papers as this is no proof of pedigree either .... under age !!!!!es .... meeting people in car parks etcNSD = 3/31 spent = £97.88/31 groceries = £26/31 fuel =2/31

If you're looking for a purebred, get the details of a few breeders from the Kennel Club website and contact them directly. Looking for puppies through these sort of websites is only going to lead to being defrauded or accidentally supporting a puppy farm.
Never agree to buy a puppy without seeing where they were bred either - if you get the puppy from the breeder out of a car boot behind a pub, you have no idea where and how it was bred, or what kind of conditions its parents are being kept in. If a 'breeder' suggests this, they're running a puppy farm.
Good luck in your search.0 -

is the worst
i was unlucky too buy 2 x british bulldogs that were dlrc registered; i took them too a breed associated vet; Both had very bad heart murmours ... one of them was deaf with a very bad tight tail.... both dogs were returned to.. the vet warned me that there was alot of inbreeding in the northwest and south wales area andthat i would be best travelling outside these areas too find a good dog ; my dogs are pets and they were for my birhday ; it was awfull and upsetting too hand them back too the breeder ; i managed too be ... by accident in touch with one of the dogs that was resold ; he has died .. about 2 weeks ago ;
i now have 2 beautiful british bulldogs that are very healthy very fat and fantatstic ; i found the advert on the kennel club website ; i find it sad that people dont give a toss about these animals; gumtree is another advertising site that leaves you open too scamsNSD = 3/31 spent = £97.88/31 groceries = £26/31 fuel =2/31

It's sa shame, cos I know that there will be genuine breeders on these websites, but they are all tarred with the same brush.I have no idea how i'm going to look for a puupy when the time comes!0
