I personally don't think that Student Support would be much help - he refuses to listen or accept advice from either students or staff, as he thinks he's a genius and above everyone.
Will have a word with my tutor tomorrow and see what my options are.

With regards to the FB comments; try and get a screenshot if you can and save it your hard drive.
Also your University will have some kind of "social network policy" that he has most likely breached, so be sure to mention this to to your Personal Tutor and investigate the policy.
If you are doing any kind of professional degree (eg medicine, dentistry, nursing, midwifery pharmacy etc) then your dept or School will have a "fitness to practice" team, and his behaviour sounds like it should be brought to the attention of this committee; especially if you're doing hospital/community visits.
