[Solved] How do I make my PC really loud?

Similar to the other question. I want to blast my music through my PC- around the level where objects might start to vibrate a little.
My budget is around £100- maybe £150 at a push. What should I buy, and where from? Second-hand is fine.

I used to have a pair of Wharfedale Active Diamond speakers, pretty sure they only cost me about £40 2nd hand - serious noise with a built in amplifierUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

Look on eBay or Gumtree for a Stereo (not necessarily AV) amplifier and a pair of speakers to go with it.
Do you want desktop (bookshelf) speakers or do you have room for floorstanding?
This amp is at £0.99 with a day or so to go.
These 'fatastic' speakers are at £69 with a few days to go
Something like the above would give you a rockin' good system.0 -
called volume control, little dial you turn up to make it louderMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

For £100 you will get fairly loud, and sound fairly pony.
Your neighbours will love you ;-)
But if you want loud as opposed to quality, best bet in my opinion will be to go for a cheapo PA system

It will sound OK but loud enough for any bedroom - and then some. 480W, although if you upgrade the amp (or buy 2 and bridge them?) you can get 1kW through those cabs.
I wouldn't want to listen to it, but horses for courses!0 -
Turn the volume upto 11 ala Spinal Tap
I've got a 2.1 surround sound system pumping out the noise from my PC but I also use iTunes and have increased the volume level on the tracks I access via iTunes.

Please do not do this between the hours of 11PM and 8AM unless you live in a detached mansion miles from anywhere.
Can't you just put some headphones on and blast your music to yourself in private?0
