    No courier firm will insure for glass, only loss.

    Best option would be to double box it (find the largest bubble wrap you can find, ie the bubble size. Wrap it around glass, lots of it. Then box this is a sturdy box, and tape this box up. Get a larger box, place first box in, fill this with styrofaom chips or shredded paper, until it is solid around other box, and tape this box up, ready to send)

    idea of double boxing is you have a lightweight cushion of air around object then a firm layer around that.
