TalkTalk and Uswitch Offer??

Hi

I am interested in getting this online deal where broadband is £3.25 per month, and you get a £60 Tesco voucher but you must sign up online. Have been to the sign up process and it is asking for a landline number. We currently dont have a landline number, so it says you must ring up and go through the process that way. Is there not a way this can be done online, as I want to qualify for this cashback offer?

Thanks,

    Hi Qwertyqwerty

If you dont currently have a line installed, in order to request a new line with TalkTalk you need to do this via the specialist new lines team. New Lines cannot be requested online at this time.

To sign up online this needs to be an exisiting line.

    Hi Totallybonkers,

The New Line Installation fee is usually £50, but there are occasional offers made for new line installations (you can check the TT webiste for how to contact the new lines team who can advise any active promotions).

I too would like to join Talk Talk and require a new line installation. While I appreciate the cost involved in this process means that TalkTalk are unable to offer the 1/2 price broadband deals as advertised on the TT website, are TalkTalk open to negotiation with regard a new line? If you can't sign up online customers are missing out on the £60 Tesco vouchers or the £65 Quidco cashback AND getting charged an additional £50 installation, thus making other suppliers deals look more appealing!

    Please advise.

    Regards

    Russell
  • The Quidco cashback, currently advertised as £65 is tracking for £50 only... I went for this last night.
Not sure if that gets increased later? Does anyone know?

If not - might be better to stick with the USwitch one.

    SC.

    Hi Russ,

Yes there are regularly offers and promotions in regards ot the installation fee for new lines, from memory these have been half price installation (£25) and Free new line installation in the last few months.

You would just need to speak to the new lines team to see what offers are currently live.

  • I recently signed up with talk talk and they offering £60.00 in Tesco vouchers. I queried couple of emails which they asked me to fill feedback surveys and still it’s not materialised
now its two months past and still no response.

Talk talk customer service has no clue on what’s going on and they said its provide by Tesco so they don’t know what’s going on after giving feedback/survey site information.

How come leading broadband provides act like this?

Could someone explain to me pls ??????

It is TalkTalk, just look at the number of complaints about them on these forums alone.
