Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Look on the underside of the charger. It should have information on it along the lines of...

    Input 110-240v 70w
    Output 19v 3.45A (-)--(o--(+)

It's the Output information we would need. There should be matching information on a sticker located on the base of the laptop. If you can find and post both I'm sure one of us will be able to point you in the right direction.

@ Take This - thank you so much. Now that I can deal with. How did you find this?

I allowed Google to be my friend just this once. Those specs should also be on your original adaptor.
  • I do appreciate your help here - problem is, the writing on the bottom of the charger is so small I can't read it. The label on the bottom of the laptop is clear plastic and I can't read that either so I think it may be the end of the line.
    Thanks all - a very friendly forum - many aren't :):)

You don't need to read what is on the bottom of the laptop, as we know what is there.

You can try taking a picture of the writing on the adaptor, transferring it to your laptop/PC and then viewing it from there, enlarged.
  • I tried contacting Acer direct but was referred tyo another department - closed!!!

    The spare charger is - 19v 3.42amp 50-60Hz output

    100-240v, 1-6A, 50-60 HZ input

Will this be OK to use on my One?
