multi fuel stove FDC 5 Salisbury

Hi Looking to have a multi fuel stove fitted had someone round who gave us a reasonable price but cant find any information on the stove.
Told it is a FDC 5 Salisbury does anyone know anything about this stove.

Frankly, it looks like someone else's stove badge engineered for them. Is there any particular reason why it appeals? There are many stoves on the market with less potential worries about spares and service....

I had a FDC5 fitted a couple of months ago, and so far, I am very impressed with the quality and price. I looked at a range of stoves, but this was recommended over the others. It is UK built, and was told that it uses superior grades of materials compared to similarly priced stoves.

It kicks out the heat, but only tested it with logs, and not coal yet.

I am the Sales Office Manager for FDC who this stove and thread refers to. We are new to the huge market of stoves and frankly have surprised ourselves with the positive introduction of this range. I agree that some newbies to the market may lack in the back up of spare parts etc. but we have tried our best to ensure we have all required parts for all eventualities, and so far so good.

We know that we are not well known in the stove market, as yet, but you will notice that with over 250 existing independent stockists we are well known in the fireplace trade.

All I can say is have a look for yourself, search for fdc 5 stove and you will find a YouTube video of it in action (posted by one of our stockists) and if you visit our website you will be able to find your nearest stockist. (sorry, not able to post links as a new user)
