Just got hold of my Nokia N73 and I am about to charge it for the first time. I know some people who charge the battery for 16hrs on its first charge or should I just charge the battery until it fully charges?

Which is the correct method to make sure the battery lasts for as long as possible?

Thanks in advance! :money:

I think you should charge till it is fully charged. Maybe allow it to drain fully for a few times. If overchare than it is supposed to damage the battery.

Yep, I'd fully charge plus "a bit"! I think it's more important to make sure the battery is fully discharged each time, before re-charging, to begin with.
My DD tends to keep "topping up" her battery and I've noticed it now runs out more quickly than it used to.
