How much internal memory is enough??
I have recently got a HTC Wildfire S, it is a lovely phone but although stateing a 512MB internal memory only about 100MB is usable for apps etc. I get low memory messages all the time and only have about 5 downloaded apps on it. SO.... how much internal memory do you need? and which smartphone is the one to get? Iphone? HTC Sensation, Desire? Samsung Galaxy SII - HELP!!

I'm presuming that you also have an external memory card too? Try downloading the "apps2sd" app. and this will do a search on your phone and determine anything that can be moved onto the external memory card.
The other phones you've mentioned are in a different league to the phone that you have (except the Desire - which also suffers from the same small internal memory) - so you're not really comparing apples with apples.
I would give that app a go first, and see if anything can be shifted across to the external card. The app. is free from the market.

most HTC phones come with poorer internal memory than equally costing samsung phones. The newest HTC phones struggle to match the internal memory of a 1.5y old samsung galaxy s, usually HTc gives an sd card which doesnt solve the problem of low internal memory.
The samsung galaxy S2 has got good internal memory but in a different price bracket than the wildfire. You can see some good deals on the SGS2 presently on hotukdeals website if interested. It has got enough memory for apps and memory can be expanded for other stuff with microsd card and also plugging in flash drives / powered hard drives (among many other things) using an USB on the go adapter.bubblesmoney :hello:0
