    Hi there,

I've just opened a savings account with Cahoot via Quidco. Should earn £25. I think the current accounts you can open through Quidco are A&L and Cahoot. Already got a savings account with AA but couldn't resist the £25.
  • - received my citibank applciation form so gonna fill that in ready for posting tomorow, so hopefully £25 on its way via quidco

    - another amazon sale

    - parcelling up 3 ebay items with recycled jiffy bags

    - preparing my statements for meeting with bank manager tomorrow morning (at MY request - am gonna see if they'll match the free overdraft alliance and leicester are offereing or threaten to move my account!)

    - made tea outta freezer instead of ordering takeaway like I fancied

    - just off to do pigsback and quidco clicks

well I have posted my SOA (view it here :)) and on top of that I paid £360 off my barclaycard, opened a "savings" account to hold £150 as an emergency fund, and if by this time next month I havn't spent it (and I'm determined not to!) I will pay it off my credit card. <- which will be a monthly thing for me to do.
I'm very stressed at finding out exactly how much i owe, but very relieved to have properly sorted my money out.:j

    QuidCo searches......

Also mentioned to boyfriend that as three bills have gone up recently could he give me a little extra each month towards the bills and he said "Of course" so that will kick in as of Feb pay day. Every little helps!

Bit of a long story! I was with Vodafone until last Oct/Nov when I saw a really good deal on a 'sim-only' package with O2. I had a handset I loved anyway, so ported my number over to this O2 sim. It's a rolling 1month contract so I'm not tied in. I dislike several things about O2 and as my new partner is on Vodafone I'm going to ring them up and see if they can better the deal I'm on with O2 (and poss throw in a new handset too!)

sounds good. so where you coming to the end of your vodfone contract in Oct/Nov? I've heard rumours that phone companies will pay off your current contract, but never seen evidence of it.
    thanks
