Hello chilly people!
Today I am attending a mental health fair at our local uni so will be taking a flask of coffee so that I don't have to spend out in the student canteen.
Only a small thing, but otherwise I can quite easily see myself spending an unnecessary £10.
Let us know what small steps you are taking today towards being debt free, and have a good day x

I'm loving this thread hypno!
A really minor thing - I forgot to use my 'divi' card at the co-op last night (bought some Tunnocks Tea Cakes for Burns Night
) so I'll be going to the members website to add on my £6 (OK, I bought a few other things as well).
I'm also going to scour the local free paper for info about car boot sales. I've got some clutter that doesn't sell on ebay and that I can't be bothered to list on free-cycle.
Claiming my expenses today - technically that was my money anyway so it doesn't really add anything, but it always feels good to get some 'unexpected' cash in.

Managed to get through the Mental Health day without the need to go to the canteen for coffee. I can't remember the last time I took a flask anywhere but it certainly saved me a few pennies.
Got my citibank current account application stuff through today so therefore £50 through quidco should be coming my way in due course, once it is all up and running! Today I have...
Took a lunch to work so I didnt have to buy one.
Shared a lift to work so shared petrol costs.
Refilled used mineral water bottle rather than getting a new one.
Did 2 hours over time.
Put ebay cheques into bank.
Used bubblebath instead of washing powder on my coloureds. (It was a bottle I got for xmas - but I dot use Bubblebath as its too harsh for my skin)
So washing smells nice and I can use the bubblebath up instead of throwing it away.
So far so mse

lol - Hubby will be rolling his eyes at me later... I've put some plates and bits on ebay and need some bubble wrap. On the way home from picking my daughter up from school I spotted a big bundle of it in the bushes, so I put my hazzards on ... I was at some lights, jumped out, bunged it in the boot ... the woman in the car behind laughing, the bloke behind him beeping cos the lights have now changed to green. I got through the lights as did the car behind but the bloke didn't

Saved me some money - what do I care :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with our debts - We WANT to be debt free DEC 09
