Mocha just keep your wits about you, read these forums regularly ad you will soon get an inkling into what items attract the scammers and what signs to look out for that might indicate a dodgy seller.

I do that all the time and Ive never been ripped off in 6 years and over 700 transactions.
The phrase "if it looks too good to be true... it probably is"... doesnt always apply to ebay. Ive had some mega deals that other people have have suspected to be dodgey but they were legit.
I followed your advice and suggested paying in cash and collecting to save the postage costs. As yet I've had no reply to my e mail.......
I've made a note of the seller's id and will be interested to see how their 'career' progresses on the site, if it does of course!0
