It obviously did for the guy on Wilders, but I can't switch it on. The driver I need isn't supported by Toshiba. I downloaded the latest one direct from Intel a while back only for Windows (I think) to block it as unsupported.

There is probably a way of forcing it, but, to be honest, I can't be bothered wasting any more time on it seeing as Firefox is the only thing I have a problem with.

That'll be because the Skype add-on has been the cause of 40,000 Firefox crashes in a week, and is the one of the reasons Mozilla introduced this third-party add-on disabling

just installed on my lovely netbook and actually this version 8 -- thus far -- is best yet. noticeably faster loading times -- on a par with the brilliant Opera -- and smoother scrolling too. early days ...;)

perhaps i meant smoother Andrew, for me these are both disabled. Yes, nothing beats Opera with regards to ultimate smooth scrolling -- both incrementally and fast top/bottom of the page.
