T-Moblie repairs

I took my blackberry bold to be fixed nearly a week ago to t-moblie shop and I have just checked the t-moblie website and said that my phone is still in the shop waiting to be sent to the repair centre. I still have to pay my bill and have no phone. Any ideas guys?

I thought that T-mblie were suppose to send your phone off right away and not leave it in the shop.

Yeah they should really have couriered that to the repair centre in a day or two shouldn't they? A week is a long time for it to be sat on a shelf!

When I sent mine off for repair via T-mobile, the system glitched and said that it had never left...the second time I took it in later that year, they said that according to their systems, my phone had been in store for 8 months!

Surprised they didn't give you a loan phone though, had they run out?
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
    Now 20% cooler
  • you should be offered a loan phone, and the system may not have updated yet (you take to store at 3pm Monday, it gets picked up 2pm tuesday, delivered to warehouse Weds, delivered to repair centre Thursday, they then take 3-4 days to update the system youre checking.)
edited to add, if u take in fri afternoon or weekend, it isnt being picked up until monday.
    which bold was it?

  • Hi all

Just to share my experience. I took my HTC Desire S into my local t-mobile shop in Manchester on Oct6th and was told it would have to be sent off and it could take approx 2-3 weeks

Well to cut a long story short i got a text saying my phone was ready to collect on Nov 11th. When i got the phone I realised that they had basically replaced it with a new one. What a waste of time

They waived a month of my rental and that i can have an accessory for up to £50, which is fair enough but it doesn't excuse that something that could've been done in 5 minutes took over a month to sort

It was up to HTC to decide whether the repair was worthwhile. Certainly it could not be done in 5 minutes and it was HTC to blame, not T-mobile.
HTC are notorious for their failing repair services.
  • I wasn't aware that HTC repaired it. Mainly because the repair tacker was on t-mobile's site.
