Talktalk mac code

Over the weekend i lost all internet connection and previous interupted connections after about 10 calls to talk talk who were very unhelpfully i have decided to go with plus net however they need a mac code talktalk first told me i don't have one? Then another call to talktalk they said they would email one within 24hrs, it has now been 48 hrs and as yet still have'nt recieved one.
As from tomorrow i'm due to enter a new contract with them and i'm total lost as to what position i'm in.
They are totally unreilable there customer services are to say the least appaulling.
I'm not sure what plus net are doing with my account they have also been very unclear about my connection withthem.
Do plus net conntact talktalk and take over the account like other services ie electricity.
I don't want to have a heavy bill for reconnection but i also don't want to stay with a company that can't supply me with a service that they cannot always provide!
Please help!

    We would need to look into the details of the account for you. If you can join the TalkTalk Members Forum we can check if the MAC has been raised. If not we can generate this for you and advise via the forum thread.

    They are allowed 5 working days to send a MAC.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    Hi Macman,


    You are correct that from the point the MAC is requested this should be provided in writing within 5 working days.

    We can often generate these sooner and confirm (in writing) via the Members Forum as advised.

    With the Above/below debate it actually depends which browser im using as to which way it stacks, ive removed that part of the comment to prevent any confusion
