Pontins what do i take ?

A little mention what i found out about Southport Pontins . Since september this year Liverpool Uni have rented just over 100 chalets from them due to a housing crisis around their Ormskirk Campus . Just a heads up if your there with family expect a few drunken students too(although due to the prices of the beer i expect you will get a seat in the club.

If you are planning on doing any frying (you can't beat a good fried brekkie at the seaside) then I would take your own frying pan as my experience is that their pans (and particularly frying pans) are useless - probably due to people used to gas hobs leaving them on the hot electric hobs and burning them. This seems to be true for all self catering accommodation I've been to, not just Pontins. Many a good fry-up spoiled by everything getting stuck to the pan. :mad:

And a good can opener would probably come in handy.

And maybe some mugs if you like a big drink.

weve recently come back from brean I phoned before said I've seen watch dog and was concerned about going they said they were making a note. When we arrived were were upgraded to top free of charge. might be worth a try.
take towels, tea towels cloths, washing up etc, loo roll. a bin bag. you only get 1 pillow each unless you phone ahead and ask for more.
Park was clean but dont eat in the restaruant we went half board never again was terrible greasy slops breakfast was good .
Have a good time

take some mugs unless you can put up with small cups

i might just try that i think it wil be ok as they obviously dont want any more bad press so they might just try that little bit harder xx

lol yes I guess so. The 4 main characters are Croc, Zena, Florence and Chuckles, and yes I'm sad that I know them.
