I haven't been to Pontins for some years now, but when we went there was a kitchen with crockery, glasses, stove pans, casserole dishes, cutlery, can opener, corkscrew, cooking spoons. You had to supply your own tea towels, washing up liquid, soap, bin bags, toilet rolls, towels, washing up brushes and clothes. We ordered the bedding pack as it contained sheets, quilts, quilt covers and pillows. I think that if you did not order these you would have to pack up the car with all the bedding as there was just a mattress on each of the beds and the bedding was in a separate bag for us to make up the beds.

On the way to the resort I would stop off and do a shop at one of the big supermarkets as although there is usually an onsite shop it is expensive, with limited choice. There is a fridge so you could bring the milk with you and other dairy items for sandwiches and breakfast. You can get toilet rolls, cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar, soap, fruit, cereals etc. There is usually only the small ice box so I wouldn't get any frozen items.

Also in advance I would go to the poundshop and stock up on glow stick bits as they sell them for a lot more in the ballrooms, plus if you can get some of the popular Pontins toys in advance off ebay you save a lot of money. Remember my daughter loved Anxious the Elephant.
  • That's great thanks for your help gonna
do a shop before we go defiantly and taking
sleeping bags as it's easier than all the bedding
    should be fun xx

What one are you going too? They have an onsite shop, a Nisa shop, well, the Camber sands one has a fairly big shop, I'm not that sure about the other sites as don't know the sizes of their shops. For the budget accomadation you have to pay for electricity which you can get from security, the shops, and reception. It costs £1, and you can start with a fiver as recommended, put them in one at time ie, as you use one, put another one in (the shops etc can tell if they have been used as they get a black line) and any unused you can return to the shop etc and get money back.

Oh and Nisa charges 5p for their bags these days but than quite a few places do these days.

Just to add what has been already covered.

    Hope that helps.

Lol, you are right...Anxious is Haven. Captain Croc was Pontins I am informed by my daughter...wonder how I could have forgotten as she won a Captain Croc tee shirt for one music game and a small Captain Croc for a dancing competition.
