can't get the weekend we wanted :( should have booked ages ago.

I'm guessing it was Bournemouth you were looking for, as I was told it was booking up fast when I called.

We decided to book again for Peterborough as we had such a lovely stay last year and it's a lot easier for us to get there.

We decided on the George at Wallingford as Bournemouth was nice but I fancied somewhere smaller this year. (free parking too). I quite fancy a wander around Oxford as I've never been. Booked 1st weekend in February instead... still a bargain

Thank you so much Kerryjayne and all the other posters who added information. I've just managed to book 4 nights in Bournmouth in January as our Christmas present to each other. We've come through a lot this year with illness and bereavements so I am really looking forward to getting the new year off to a good start.

I bought this for my parents last year and they really enjoyed their stay in Bournemouth. I fancy doing something similar for them again this year but obviously don't wantto give them exactly the same again so has anyone seen anything similar preferably in the Lake District area? I've seen all the Groupon deals as I subscribe, also the Travelzoo local deals but wondered if anyone had seen anything else. thanks

My parents went to Carlisle earlier this year, onsite parking is free and it's right in the centre of Town.:j
  • just wish there were more locations!
  • Thanks op , it's my hubbies 30th on jan 29th and i've secretly organised babysitters and booked us in to the peterborough hotel on the 26th and 27th. really wanted the cumbria one but couldn't get the dates. The bull looks lovely though and for £109 with breakfast and dinner , can'tg go wrong. free parking there too which is a bonus! :)

Rang approx 10 days ago. Receipt came through 5 days later followed by voucher 4-5 days later. Really thick gold voucher without a price on it and with a free envelope! That's DS present sorted!
