We've booked this deal again this year. Staying in Bournemouth (as we did last year), couldn't fault the room, food or service. Great deal.

I believe their car park is underground & £12 a day. Do you recommend it or a nearby alternative?

we're quite lucky in that we used to live in Bournemouth, so we knew the secret spots to park for free, took a bit of driving around (and arguing!). We had a good 30 min walk to the hotel then though :o
But sorry havent got a fail safe spot for free parking that doesnt involve driving round in circles for half hour.
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

I thought it wasn't all that bad for guaranteed parking on site. But then again, I'm far too lazy to walk 30 mins like sarnd! Seaside parking is always a nightmare to find.

I bought this for my parents last year and they really enjoyed their stay in Bournemouth. I fancy doing something similar for them again this year but obviously don't wantto give them exactly the same again so has anyone seen anything similar preferably in the Lake District area? I've seen all the Groupon deals as I subscribe, also the Travelzoo local deals but wondered if anyone had seen anything else. thanks

Oh thanks OP. Think I also bumped the old thraed a few weeks ago as I had meant to call and ask the hotel if it was on but never got around to it. Loved our well earned stay in January at their Bournemouth hotel so if we can get babysitters will go again next January.

Might try th Peterbrough one this time, same distance from here to both and they have free parking... right opposite a huge shopping centre so I'll need to save where I can!

We gave in and used it, I am a total cheepskate so it really hurt but hey, we were on holiday!

MIL say they will have our three darlings for a weekend so off we go! Will book tomorrow after asking DH'd opinion on which hotel to choose... he was happy with Bournemouth but I'd like to try somewhere different...
