    Well, what a week.....

DH and I developed stinking codes and have been feeling terrible for most of the week.

Took me a few reads to work out what you meant there :p
    Mtg May 2011 - £127,500/825610% CC - £2211/2211Argos Card 0% - £253.95/208.95

Back from work trip and super tired.....
eBay money received and transferred from Paypal.
Finished jiggling the money following payday and have made an OP just now rather than waiting until March, so have increased the amount paid off for Feb. Happy days.....

    Busy day today....
DH was workin all day so lots of playing with the kids, coffee with neighbours, housework, changed the living room around (moved huge sofa to summer position so that the doors in to the garden are accessible), cooked huge batch of meatballs for kids to freeze, cooked a chilli and portioned for the freezer and cooked a jambalaya for dinner tonight (leftovers to have for dinner on monday)....

Ds has decided that he would like to have a few friends round for his birthday in a couple of weeks. I'd promised him a party this year but thankfully he's decided he would prefer this option, so very happy. He realises that if he has a party then he just gets a token gift so I think this is why he opted for having friends to tea instead. I got him a ds game when I was last in the US with work and I'm giving him my old iPhone to use an iPhone touch. I just need to delete everything and then sort an iTunes account and put all of the free games that I've downloaded over the years on to it for him. I've got him a groovy case for it so he will be really chuffed. I got it through the business's and just replaced it with a 4s, so it hasn't cost me anything. It wouldn't really be appropriate for me to sell it as it was purchased through work so this way makes more sense........ My business partner always passes his onto his children when he upgrades so it seems the thing to do.....

DH out tomorrow morning so a friend is popping in for coffee and then hopefully if the weather is nice again, we can get outside with the children and go to the park or for a walk.

Busy few weeks ahead with work, all good and exciting times.

Not a very MSE day today, it dawned on me that mothers day is coming up and following that it's my mums birthday... She lives in the sticks in Canada and it takes forever to get anything to her..... So I popped out and bought various bid and pieces, i just need to get a pair of slippers now and then I can package everything up and get it posted in a couple of days. The postage usually costs as much as the contents!

I haven't posted for a while but I've been having a quick read through every now and then of the diaries that I have subscribed to - glad to see that everyone is still being very MSE!

I've had a fair bit of spending in the last month or so with various birthdays etc, but I've tried to do it economically!

Very happy as with my mortgage payment and OP this month, I have dropped below the £120k mark, which means the next goal is to get below the £110k mark - I'm hoping to do this by the end of June as I'm hoping to get a bonus in April which will help me to achieve this.

Still very focused on being mortgage free ASAP but I must be honest and say that I keep thinking of lovely things that could be bought with the money we have OP such as a new car, nice holiday, new carpets, new clothes, fancy shoes etc etc - however, I've resisted the temptation so far and hope to continue to resist the temptations for as long as possible.

Off in to London shortly for a meeting. I haven't been since the beginning of December, and since the weather is very spring like and sunny today, I'm actually rather looking forward to it.

Well it may have been sunny yesterday, but it was cold - I didn't dress appropriately and spent most of the day being cold. Was very happy to get home and changed in to my pi's and fluffy dressing gown!

Have been shying away from updating here as I took the decision to p/x my car....... I had a small convertible which wasn't practical with 2 small children plus I use the car a fair bit for business.

So, I'm getting a different car which means taking back £11k of my overpayments.

I've decided the best thing to do in terms of managing my overpayment target for 2012, is to increase the goal by 11k to £26k. It will be difficult, but if I can do this it means that all of my plans stay on track despite changing the car.

Guess I'd best update the 2012 MF spreadsheet and signature. Eeek

Ok, all updated, so mortgage o/s is back up to £129k instead of £118k. And, my 2012 goal is now £26k instead of £15k.
