Thanks Tilly - hope all is well in the T household x0 -

Well, being a contractor certainly has it's pitfalls when it comes to things like getting a mortgage...... hopefully it will be sorted OK but it wont be straight forward and I need to pay a company to organise it all for me, meh!!
So, if it doesn't work out, I will just need to save like a mad woman I suppose and try and buy a property....0 -
Hmmm, might have found a lender that accepts a low joint salary which means I wont need to worry about going via the Contractor people - their fee was £695, so hopefully it works out and we make a saving......
They're calling us this evening to run through everything. Fingers crossed.
Just appointed the solicitors, so it's all getting very serious.
Of course, in the next few days, it's going to hurt like hell as our o/s balance is going to shoot back up. Gutted.0 -

Happy 2000th post_party_
You might not be mortgage free by 2016, but if this were a game of monopoly you would be have a nice wee house empire accumulating, and I would be looking at my community chest card which would read 'excuse me, but when TF are you ever gonna do any MOPs?'
Meh;)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D
