I love that my children like their sleep, hurrah for the lie in!

Nice cuppa in bed now and catch up......

No sunshine this morning, and I have to say, it's actually quite nice. It will be back again tomorrow I'm sure.

Going to catch up on some chores today and need to do some food shopping too as the cupboards are a bit bare. Not sure i can face a full shop though.

I'm going to be booking some flights today. I have a conference in Washington in Nov that I've decided to go to as I'm combining it with going to Montreal to see my mum. So, 4 nights in Montreal with mum and then 3 nights in Washington for conference. I'm beyond excited as I've not seen her for a year and I'm looking forward to exploring two new cities too.

Hope everyone is enjoying some respite from the sunshine. I'm sure it will be back with a vengeance tomorrow!

Good day, lots of jobs done... Washing, changing all bed sheets, washing, drying them etc... And some house tidying.

Had some friends round this afternoon/evening which was lovely. Boys all played nice together and we had some wine and nibbles in the garden.

Not sure what the plan is tomorrow but I think I might try and sneak off to the gym and go swimming. Might take my ipad with me and do some diary catch ups whilst I have a coffee lounging around the pool.......

Will have to see what the boys have planned.

Natty - I'm really looking forward to seeing my mum, we're both excited about it. I booked my flights this morning.

    Morning!

Big fat lie in this morning.... The boys didn't wake us up until 9:45, oops!

Very cloudy and cool again so not feeling too guilty about the epic lie in.

Has anyone heard of a store called "B and M"? Some friends have said its worth taking a trip there, just wondered what my MSE friends thought about it and whether it was worthwhile?

We've not done a proper food shop for a while so we're running very low and need to stock up again soon.

I know this store of which you speak :D. Wouldn't bother tbh, I found it very expensive. I'm sure they do have bargains if you know where to look - is there a thread on it somewhere to show what the bargains are.

If you do go you could couple with a visit to Argos warehouse. And I may be available for a pit stop for coffee :D. No cakes though :naughty:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks GG..... decided to give it a miss - I figured it might be one of those places where I'd possibly end up with rubbish that I didn't need. So, did the Aldi/Tesco shop instead.... I did a two week shop and spent slightly more than what DH does on a one week shops. We'll need top up's on things like bread, but not too much.

It's been ages since I did the food shop and was really shocked by the prices on some (actually most) of the things in Tesco. It's appalling.

I fear the Argos warehouse could again result in the purchase of items that I don't need, but I'd be up for a cuppa sometime even if you don't have cakes!!!!

Sort of missing the sunshine, but it's nice not to be melting...

    Morning!

    Another overcast and cooler day.....

Account tidies and 71p to the MOP pot.

Working from home until 1 and then off to pick up DS2 from nursery. Planning to go to Pilates tonight, never been before, so no idea what is in store for me. Will go for a quick swim afterwards.

It could even end up as a NSD today.
