I certainly found at younger ages girls were far more aggressive in wanting to song etc. Tended to reverse once you got in the mid-teens.

    Debt-free and Proud!
All through secondary school we went out as big groups to cinema, mcdonalds etc. I think my first 'real' date was age 15 and my daughter was about 16 even though she went out a lot she didnt seem interested - in fact she seemed quite disdainful of the opposite sex! lol

My DD (14) is only just getting into boys, she's been out with boys to the cinema etc, but always as a group, she hasn't been on a date yet! I had my first proper boyfriend at 16.

11 in my opinion is way too young, I just asked DD if that was the norm' at her school, and her reply wasn't pleasent towards the ones that do ;)

    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
I was clearly living under one of the neighbouring rocks!! I too went to an all-girls' school, had first kiss at 18.5 and first proper boyfriend at nearly 19. That first proper boyfriend was also my only one - he's now my husband :D

My sister was more of a normal teenager though (despite being another graduate of the all-girls school). She had her first boyfriend at 15 or so and they went out for a year or so. She then got another one and again they were together for a year or two but it fizzled out. She's now 22 and it's been the same for her ever since - a series of short-lived relationships that have never really got that serious.
